Who is this MBA for?

The MBA by Flexible Learning is designed for experienced managers looking to develop their international management competencies. The programme is structured to allow you to continue working in full-time employment while studying part-time, connecting your learning to current global, international and organisational issues. The MBA by Flexible Learning (International stream) offers a study route and is designed to best support you if you are elsewhere in the world where Henley is not currently providing local support, or if you are UK-based but whose work schedules mean you are constantly on the move and are seeking an alternative to our standard study schedule. Ideally suited to you if you are unable to take significant time out of the workplace to study and want greater flexibility over how, when and where you achieve your MBA qualification.

Henley Business School & its Accreditation

Henley is recognized as a world leader in management, with accreditation by the Association of MBAs (AMBA). The college is recognized as a quality provider of open MBA programmes. International recognition comes from being one of the 41 European business schools to achieve EQUIS accreditation, the quality assurance standard of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

In the United States, most accredited MBA programmes are accredited by AACSB (the International Association for Management Education). Henley Business School is a member of AACSB and plays an active part in its affairs. In April 2002, Henley Business School was awarded AACSB International accreditation. “AACSB accreditation confirms Henley’s commitment to leading edge quality business and management education and development”, says Stephen Watson, then Principal of Henley Business School. “We’re proud to be one of only four schools in the U.K to have been awarded the triple accreditation: ACCSB, EQUIS and AMBA.”

Henley Business School was awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category on April 2006 and was voted a Business Superbrand in 2007.

Henley Business School is incorporated by Royal Charter in the United Kingdom, which gives them the power to award their own taught degrees. They are also continuously monitored by the UK Government Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.

Henley has developed one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated distance learning programmes. Among traditional business schools, Henley Business School is one of the few to have spotted the potential of technology early and in 1984 launched its Distance Learning MBA.
